We believe that church membership is a biblical mandate. Christians have been commanded by God to join a local church and it is a membership that is eternal and can bless every area of your life!
Every believer has been uniquely gifted to do good works within a local body of believers!
Not only does the church serve every christian in their walk with Christ, but every church member serves their church to advance the gospel.
Eph. 4:15-16- "Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love."
Membership Process
Meet with a Pastor
We would love to meet with you and your family over a meal or coffee to get to know you better and to hear about how the Lord is working in your life.
Be presented to the church
This sounds a lot more informal than it is! After meeting with a pastor at our church and confirming the Lord is leading you to join our congregation we want to let our congregation know that you are officially a new member! We can do this by presenting you at the end of our service or having your picture on the announcement screen before the service starts. Because we know everyone does't just love getting up in front of crowds!
Attend new members class
We will hold new members classes once or twice a year and we will cover what we expect of our church members as well as what we believe as baptist and why those distinctive are important.
