Let it Shine
Mark 4:21-25
Sermon in a Sentence-The True Light Jesus Christ has come, we must cherish him in our hearts and display him in our lives.
I. The Purpose of the Light
John 8:12 “ Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
a. What is the "Lamp"
b. Why was the Lamp hidden?

II. The Promise of the Light
a. When you hide the light you misuse it
Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and ogive glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
b. You get what you give-if you don't use it then you lose it.
c. v. 25-Loss of benefits/usefulness in the Kingdom, not loss of salvation
